About Crowley Plumbing

Jim Crowley is the third generation of Crowley Plumbers. Jim's grandfather was born in Ireland. As Ireland was moving from horses to steam powered engines, his grandfather learned how to fix these engines and became a steam fitter.

When he immigrated to the United States, he used these valuable skills to fix boilers and quickly found his niche in the new land. He settled in Rochester, New York and opened Crowley Plumbing in 1928 - thus the first generation of Crowley plumbers was born.

Jim carries on in the traditions of his grandfather. After growing up in Rochester, he moved to the Northern Virginia area to expand the Crowley plumbing trade. He is a Virginia Class A Contractor, and a Licensed Master Plumber as well as a Licensed Master Gas Fitter. He is a Certified Backflow Technician and is a member of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC). Crowley Plumbing is fully insured and licensed to safeguard you and your home.
